The Mindscape NHibernate Designer is a Visual Studio 2010 extension that enables you to create models and mappings for the popular NHibernate object-relational mapper from within Visual Studio using a visual design surface. You can define your entity types and the associations between them, and specify how those entities and their properties are mapped to your database schema.
To get started with the NHibernate designer:
- Create or open a C# or Visual Basic project.
- Right-click the project in Solution Explorer, and choose Add > New Item.
- Select NHibernate Model from the Add New Item dialog.
- Drag entities on from the Toolbox or tables from Server Explorer.
